Let Claude See Your Screen in 5 Minutes
Claude Code can now see your screen, click buttons, and navigate apps. No setup needed. This is the feature that makes non-coders say "wait, WHAT?"
In March 2026, Anthropic shipped Computer Use for Claude Code. It means Claude can literally see what's on your screen, move the mouse, click things, type into forms, and navigate apps. You don't install anything extra. You just say "look at my screen" and it does. This changes everything for non-technical users because you can point at something and say "fix that."
Make sure Computer Use is enabled
Computer Use is available on Claude Pro and Max plans. It works in the desktop app, terminal, and IDE extensions. No extra installation needed.
Ask Claude to do something visual
The real power: point Claude at something on screen and ask it to interact with it. Fill a form, navigate an app, debug a visual bug.
Navigate between apps
Claude can switch between apps, open new tabs, and work across multiple windows. Great for workflows that span several tools.
Use it for everyday tasks
Computer Use shines for tasks that used to require you to describe what you're seeing. Now you just say "look at this" and Claude gets it instantly.
