Automate Your Newsletter in 10 Minutes

Feed Claude your sources (URLs, RSS feeds, or topics) and get a fully formatted newsletter draft ready to send.

Writing a newsletter is mostly curation: you scan ten tabs, decide what matters, and then spend an hour stitching it into prose. Claude can do the scanning, the summarizing, and the first draft. You do the editing and add your voice at the end.

You need: A Claude account. Open claude.ai in a browser, or the Claude desktop app.

  1. step 01 / 05

    Tell Claude what your newsletter is about

    Open Claude.ai and describe your newsletter in one message. The more specific, the better the draft.

    I run a weekly newsletter for product managers called "PM Pulse." It covers product strategy, interesting frameworks, and one tool worth trying. My audience is mid-to-senior PMs at tech companies. Tone is smart but not stuffy, like a sharp PM friend texting you.

    Give Claude your sources

    Paste URLs, article titles, or just topics you've been thinking about. Claude will turn them into newsletter content.

    Ask Claude to add your voice

    The first draft is accurate but probably a bit flat. Ask Claude to punch it up, add a hot take, sharpen the opener, make it sound more like you.

    Get it formatted for your platform

    Whether you use Substack, Beehiiv, or plain email, ask Claude to format it correctly.

    Save your newsletter prompt as a reusable template

    The instructions you just gave Claude are now a reusable recipe. Save them as your permanent "newsletter prompt" so you never start from scratch again.
