Lenny Podcast
Searches 269+ PM podcast episodes. Good for a second opinion before a decision.
What it does
/lenny-podcast searches the Lenny's Podcast archive across 269+ episodes and extracts what guests have said about a specific topic. The output is a synthesis of their perspectives with episode citations so you can go to the source if you want.
This is most useful when you're about to make a decision and want to know what experienced PMs have found to be true. It's a sanity check, not a substitute for judgment.
When to use it
- Before a prioritization decision where you want to see how other PMs think about the tradeoff
- When you're presenting a framework to leadership and want to reference real PM experience
- When a stakeholder challenges your approach and you want to show it's grounded in practice
How to trigger it
Say: what does Lenny say about [topic]
Example: what does Lenny say about saying no to stakeholders
What you need
Works without integrations. The skill uses a pre-indexed knowledge base of the podcast. No Spotify or podcast subscription needed.
The output includes episode names and guest names so you can look up the full episode if the synthesis isn't enough.
